นัก ขว้างหนุ่มนิสัยดีและสปิริตแรง Sawamura Eijun ถึงทีมจะแพ้บ่อยครั้ง แต่เขาก็ยินดีที่ได้เล่นกับเพื่อนที่มีฝีมือระดับธรรมดา เมื่อเตรียมขึ้นชั้นมัธยมปลายเขาถูกทาบทามให้เข้าโรงเรียน Seidou ที่มีชื่อเสียงการแข่งเบสบอล ถึงจะปฏิเสธเพราะอยากเรียนและแข่งเบสบอลต่อร่วมกับเพื่อน แต่เพื่อนก็ไม่รั้งเขาไว้ ทำให้เขาต้องมาร่วมทีมเบสบอลฝีมือระดับพระกาฬ และมุ่งสู่การเป็นผู้เล่นชั้นยอดของโรงเรียนมัธยมปลายตามที่สัญญากับเพื่อนๆ ไว้
